Ages 3-5 Classes

CREATIVE (3-5)

Skills taught are pre ballet technique, balance, spatial
awareness, rhythm, posture, dance motion and building muscle and brain
memory all while having fun and developing the child's confidence through praise and repetition.

DAY AND TIME:

-Tuesday 4:00pm-4:45pm (class A)

-Wednesday 4:00pm-4:45pm (class B)

DRESS CODE:

-Dance attire (stretchy clothes, leotards, leggings, ...etc.) NO JEANS. Hair out of face. Pink ballet shoes.

FAIRYTALE BALLET (4-6)

Beginning ballet for young children using fairytales
to teach terminology, positions, and technique, making the discipline fun and memorable.

DAY AND TIME:

-Thursday 4:00-4:45pm (class A)

DRESS CODE:

-Leotard, tights, skirt. Hair pulled back (ponytail or bun). Pink ballet shoes

BALLET/TUMBLING (5-6)

This combo class teaches dancers ballet positions, terms, and steps. The other portion of class focuses on basic tumbling moves where students get to learn to move and strengthen their bodies! These two genres compliment each other because they both require balance, core strength, and flexibility.

DAY AND TIME:

-Thursday 4:45-5:30pm

DRESS CODE:

-Leotard with skirt, leggings, or biker shorts. Hair in ponytail or bun. Pink ballet shoes.

BEGINNING TAP (5+)

Tap dancing involves shoes with metal plates on the bottom to hear
the sounds. Students start with basics that get built upon and added to becoming
more intricate and complicated that are used throughout all tap dancing levels.
Focus is on Sound and Technique, Rhythm and Timing, while learning steps,
their names and how to incorporate them into choreography. As tappers
advance an awareness is made of the different types snd styles of percussive
dance.

-Wednesday 4:45-5:30pm

DRESS CODE:

-Dance attire (stretchy clothes, leggings,...etc.) NO JEANS. Hair out of face, black tap shoes
