ADULT TAP 1

Tap dancing involves shoes with metal plates on the bottom to hear the sounds. Students start with basics that get built upon and added to becoming more intricate and complicated that are used throughout all tap levels. Focus is on Sound and Technique, Rhythm and Timing, while learning steps, their names and how to incorporate them into choreography. As tappers advance an awareness is made of the different types and styles of percussive dance.

This class is for adults wanting to learn how to tap dance!

DAY AND TIME:
-Wednesday 6:15-7:00pm

DRESSCODE:
-Loose fitting clothes, sneakers. NO JEANS. Hair pulled back.
ADULT TAP 2

Focus is on Sound and Technique, Rhythm and Timing, while learning steps, their names and how to incorporate them into choreography. As tappers advance an awareness is made of the different types and styles of percussive dance.

This class is geared for adult students who have had tap experience and are on a beginning/intermediate level. It's also a great class for adults who have tapped or clogged in the past and want to get back into dancing!

ADULT TAP 3
*(needs teacher approval)

Focus is on Sound and Technique, Rhythm and Timing, while learning steps, their names and how to incorporate them into choreography. As tappers advance an awareness is made of the different types and styles of percussive dance.

This class is for adults with many years of tap experience who want to be challenged at a faster pace.
